Design: Library preparation was performed with a procedure adapted from the Nextera Library Prep kit (Illumina). Then, libraries were sequenced on Illumina NextSeq using paired-end 2 x 150 reads with a NextSeq 500/550 High Output v2 kit (Illumina). The resulting DNA sequences were filtered for low quality (Q-score < 20) and length (< 50), and adapter sequences were trimmed using Cutadapt (v.1.15).
